Plugged, curated by BBC Introducing in Lincolnshire, is a monthly live event featuring the hottest new bands from across the UK.
Live sets from: Marsicans, Albany & The Ultraviolet
Upbeat indie meets dirty pop from the north of England.
Comprised of a gang of four very different individuals: all friends from school and Leeds’ music scene, the current line-up started sampling old synths, singing in harmony and writing songs together in 2014.
Marsicans’ earworm pop hooks, hectic gig schedule and growing reputation for exciting live shows quickly led to notable support slots (The Pigeon Detectives, Embrace, Catfish & The Bottlemen) and festival bookings (Kendal Calling, Reading & Leeds festivals). Recent releases have seen support from music tastemaker's such as Radio 1's Huw Stephens & Radio X's John Kennedy, as well as 6Music, BBC Introducing & more!
Albany are an up and coming britpop band from the UK. Their only goal is to bring back the raw sounds, which so defined the British music industry.
► The Ultraviolet
Alternative rock with a dash of pop-punk, these are a four-piece who pride themselves in playing huge, tight and energetic shows. Having already shared the stage with the likes of Lonely the Brave, Amber Run, Anavae & more, these guys are ones to look out for.
"They are probably the liveliest band you will ever see live" - BBC Introducing in Lincolnshire
