Marsicans are a young indie band from Leeds whose driving, harmony-laden sound and exciting live shows are earning them a reputation as an emerging force in British music.

The last 12 months have been Marsicans' busiest to date: signing to LAB Records and X-ray Touring, their EP hit a million plays on Spotify; singles made the BBC Radio 1 weekly playlist, the opening credits of E4's Made In Chelsea and were shared online by Coldplay; they played to packed rooms at Live At Leeds, Brighton’s Great Escape, Lincoln's 2Q, Manchester’s Neighbourhood and various outdoor festival stages including Leeds Festival; and hit the road as main support to Jaws and Clean Cut Kid in the UK and on Minnesota’s Hippo Campus' European dates.

Marsicans' latest single, Throw Ourselves in, described by Wonderland Magazine as "arguably the group’s grungiest song but still glittering with their signature colourful harmonies and joy filled vibes", went straight into the Top 20 of Spotify UK's New Music Friday as well as The Indie List and other high profile playlists at home and abroad. Radio 1's Huw Stephens described is as "sounding like a number one smash."
